Convergys Latest Job Interview Placement  Pattern (Written, Screening, Technical & HR)

Company Name : Convergys Informatiomation Management  Group India
Type : Fresher, Job Interview
Venue: KIET Ghaziabad

The selection procedure consisted of:
1. Written Test
2. Technical and HR Interviews

Basically this company has very little requirement. Out of about 3500 students  who appeared in the written test, only about 200 were short-listed.  About  160 more were screened out after the first round of interviews.. The number of  vacancies was probably just about 20-25.

The written test consisted of four sections:
1. Reasoning (Tough) - CAT level LR - no use preparing
2. Technical Test (Easy) - General OOPS concepts, flow diagrams etc
3. Programming Test (Easy) - C/C++, SQL
4. English (Very Very Easy) - simple English usage - needs no preparation

No negative marking. There were about 75 questions in all,  and the cutoff score was probably 60% of the total marks. I would advice you to  go for the latter three sections first and then come to the first section. They  were rejecting candidates left right and centre.

The technical interview is quite detailed (atleast half an  hour) and they check everything - C/C++, Java, DBMS/PL-SQL, your final year  project. If your area of interest is DBMS, then you will have an advantage  because lots of advanced DBMS is used for their products. But be prepared for  tough questions.

All the very best...:)
