i took the infy test on 18, jan.in chennai.i am giving only the answers,to verify with the other people.i send the full paper later.

1.train crossing 15 poles.(4 Marks)

15 5/9 Mins.

2.don't remeber.but ,it is an analytical problem. 5 days and something (6M)

3.Hat floating pbm(4M)
50 yards/min. or 20 yards/min.(not sure)
i didn't answer this qn in exam.after the exam i worked it out and got 2 possible answers.

4.cube pbm.(8M)

5.2 frnds purchasing some hat and suit.
didn't get the answer.

6. ties pbm.

7.the big one abt 5 people and their ages and houses.(10M)
this is another one analytical pbm.10 answers. i don't remember.

8.2 trains crosses each other.(3M)
when locomotive passes : 1/12 min= 5 sec
when coaches passes    : 1/6 min= 10 sec

i am not sure abt this ans. i under stood like this.

9.one train pbm, after break down it goes 3/5 th of its previous speed.
200 miles.

pbm no  4,5,9 are repeated ones from old papers.u can easily find out these pbms from 99, 2000 infy papers.

The given answers are to my knowledge. it may be right or wrong. verify with ur frnds.
