INFOSYS PAPER - 27 NOV 2005 - HYDERABAD

Hi Friends

First of all,I would like to thank Friends mam        for maintaining such a gud group.It really helps a lot. I would like        to share my infosys interview experience hoping that atleast few of u        who read this,would gain something.this may b quite lengthy,but i hope        it will help u guys.by the way, i will b joining infosys        on
19th.

I am an MCA Fresher(2005).First of all, I had my written        test on 27th november (in Hyd). I got my call letter on 14th.Believe me,I        prepared only for 1 week.When i got the call letter,I decided that i        am not gng to attempt as i thought that i would not be able to        prepare in 12 days.But after 4 days,with my parents n friends        repeatedly trying to convince me to write the exam as it is difficult        to get an other opportunity,I too thought of just giving an        attempt.I have applied to many companies online.But, the first call        that i got was from Infosys.So,after 4 days, i collected all the        previous papers n started preparing from the 5th day.I prepared only        for 1 week.

As far as the test is concerned,it is enough if u        prepare previous question papers(especially 2005). Dont b depressed        if u r not able to solve shakunthala devi n other books (like        barrons).If u have time after solving the previous papers, then go 4        shakuntala devi.I solved only 100 puzzles frm shakunthala.barrons
is        not required. Dont just mug up the answers,solve them becoz,when they        evaluate, they look at the way in which u got the answer.I solved 8        puzzles out of 10.The other 2 , i left completely.Though i        attemted 8, i was confident only with 7.So,attempt whatever u can.        

Reg ENGLISH, dont worry.that will b easy.there will b a passage n        4-5 q's related 2 tat.Then,there will b 4-5 synonyms.there will b        sumthing like..fill
ups. say, a small story divided into 5 or 6        sentences and fill ups to fill that answers (answers like..will        come, shall come,had left..).thats very easy.then they will give u 4        sentences n then ask u to find out the odd one(may b with        grammatical errors).THE ENGLISH PART IS COMPLETELY        OBJECTIVE
TYPE.So, u dont hv 2 worry.u can do it        without preparation.

But do hard work for atleast 1 week.That        will change ur future.Never feel depressed.Even,I was an        average student.I dont work hard that much.My hard work was only for        1 week. Believe in urself n think that u can do it.then u will        definitely b into infosys.

DONT LOSE HOPE. EVEN AVERAGE        STUDENTS CAN CLEAR THE TEST. B COOL.DONT B TENSED. JUST PRAY 2 GOD N TRY        UR BEST. GOD WILL DEFINITELY HELP U ALL.ALL THE BEST N GOOD LUCK TO        ALL.
