INFOSYS PATTERN & INTERVIEW - 29 MAY 2007 - KADAPA
Rated : +0 , -0
Hi Friends

I'm Sadasiva Reddy, a student of V.I.T.S attended Infosys on 29th May 2007 held at K.S.R.M Engg.college in Kadapa. As usual, the written test consists of 2 papers. The xam was held at 11:45 a.m.
 First paper  ---   40 Q's ----  35 min
 Second paper  ---  30 Q's ----  35 min

First paper consists of sections such as data interpretation, data suffiency, puzzles, Q's based on figures (refer to non verbal reasoning by R.S.Aggarwal), syllogism etc where each section carries 5 marks. The paper was tougher than the others I saw. It seemed  just as a mini CAT. But to get through it refer to some good CAT material(preferably T.I.M.E).

The second paper consists of two big passages with 10 Q's under them. Don't answer them right at the beginning. Next is the correction of sentences consists of 6 Q's in which some part of the question(Q) is underlined and should be replaced by the appropriate options given below. Next r the Q's which should be filled with the appropriate words given in the options. It consists of 6 Q's. Finally 8- small passages were given with the options below. I found this ptty easier than the others.

The xam was finished at 12:55 p.m.and the results were announced at 4:50 p.m. I was short-listed for the HR.

HR interview:
Coming to the HR, I was the first candidate for the interview, also this is my first interview, but I'd no tension. I wished the interviewer, then he asked me to take my seat. I sat in a pleasing manner.
The Q's asked r
1)  tell me about urself?
2)  What was the electronic device used in the operation of a lift?
3)  How does the T.V. remote work?
4)  How can u control the traffic effectively?
5)  Preassume that ur travelling in a train and ur compartment caught fire, how do u react for that?
Out of these 5 I answered 3 (1,4,5) and I thought I almost got it.

The results were announced at 11:15 p.m. and I found my name not shortlisted, may I'm not suited for that. I thought Infosys is not the only company and had my proceedings.
I intend u people to crack the INFOSYS if any.

No. of. Students attended   ---  900
No. shortlisted for HR  ---  113
