Hi All, I attended the TCS interview

It consists of 3 rounds

ROUND1:- Written Test

Only Quantative Aptitude (Just prepare 70 patterns of TCS it is more than enough to crack the Written)
ROUND2:

TECHNICAL INTERVIEW:

As my name was in the selected list iam very happy and the next day was my tr & hr.Iam very much tensed about the interview but the tr was very friendly and i felt very comfortable talking with him.I was called to the interview at the time about 2:15PM after waiting for a long time.

ME:May i get in sir

TR:Yes
ME:Good afternoon sir
TR(with smiling face):Good afternoon madam take your seat;had your lunch??

ME: no sir,thank u sir
TR(saw my resume):ok monica then tell me about urself
ME:said about my details,achievements & family
TR:k,what is ur fav subject?
ME:operating sys
TR:then what is the latest os?
ME:Andriod os
TR:what do u know about android os?
ME:said about features and advantages
TR:k,he told me andriod functioning
ME:k sir
TR: tell me about pointers
ME:told
TR:where do we use them ?
ME:told
TR:what are linked lists ?
ME:told
TR:write syntax
ME:wrote
TR:what are types of linked lists?
ME:told
TR:asked about  circular linked list and examples
ME:told
TR:good,then write this program(he gave me a program about strings to write )
ME:wrote and explained it to him(he asked me to xplain it "xplaination is better than my understanding myself")
TR:k good
TR:k monica then whats your goal
ME:said "to be placed in reputed organisation like tcs  and to be one of the main persons responsible  for the success of it"
TR:good

ME:thanku sir thanku for giving me this great oppurtunity

Iam confident that i ill be selected for hr as i answered almost all questions
After eagerly waiting for the results,mine was in the list iam very happy and i attended to hr round

ME:painting sir
HR:k how many types of paintings u know
ME:told
HR:Do u know any famous painters?
ME:yes sir Hussain  is the indian painter(in tension i forgot his initial(m.f.hussain))
HR:which hussain??saddam hussain??
ME:no sir he is mf hussain and i told about him which i know
HR:k then do u know any other painter?
ME:told about leonardo davince and his painting of "monalisa",its specialities.
HR:k tell ma about leonardo davince?
ME:I told he is a socialist
HR:what is meant by socialism?
ME:dnt know  clearly sir
HR:then why u told he is socialist?
ME:i remembered from socialstudies in my schooldays sir
HR:he laughed and said" from ur school subject?"
HR:k then imagine u r a news reader and forecast weather between june-oct of this year
ME:me done(he had keenly observed my communication and my responding manner)
HR:k well done monica

ME:told about a sweet which is famous there and about  some places.

We waited for about 4-5 hours after interviews and at last iam very very happy to listen my name which was declared by tcs.

Friends a little effort is enough to be get selected. Go through thoroughly in basics of our core subjects  to deal with tr and be confident about urself ,tension makes us forget many things ,dont be tensed.To deal with hr all we need is good communication and  way of expressing clearly and   & i hope u all get placed. All the best friends.
